This performance is stunning and when you realize this is only one week or so post JFK assassination, it is the voice of God coming through. God bless Judy Garland.

Mickey Rooney said so many people pass through the gates of MGM that when a rare talent shows up it's a beacon. Judy became Dorothy became Esther Blodgett (a star is born) became the icon. Barbra and Judy made history before there would have been history because Judy saw the same beacon. She was original. Judey At Carnegie Hall was released in the early 60s and has never been out of print. The first woman to win the grammy for star of the year, first double album to go platinum, the first woman to knock the guys off the boards. She was, is, and will remain the original Judy Garland. Take us over the rainbow again and again and again. 🌈🌈🌈

It’s always brings me to tears because I remember I used to watch this with my American cousins, when we were little. But the one thing that does make me cry about this song is I used to watch it with my grandfather who passed away. 😢

I remember the song to this day...can't say I was a fan of the show, though. To a small child raised on the hectic pace of He-man, I found Wind In The Willows to be positively glacial! But this song was, and still is, stunningly beautiful, no doubt because of the fabulous voice, guitar playing and songwriting of Ralph McTell

im 46 this year, was born in Brunei and spent my early years there before moving to Singapore.. grew up watching a lot of BBC shows on TV.. when i think of Wind in the Willows memories of this song and TV series always comes flooding back.. Reminds me of a much simpler time.. thousands of miles away from England and yet i can so identify with it..

WOW! Truly the best singer of all time and one amazing actress. I remember watching her as a small kid with my family on her tv show. There will NEVER EVER be another like Judy.

My favourite was TOOD i was like 6 watching this in NEW ZEALAND i havent seen THAT THAMES picture at the start since the eighties i never knew where it was that picture .

I was just on another site playing different versions of this wonderful song. I played one by Don Cornell which was rated as the second best version. I don't know who was rated at #1, but it just had to be this exquisite version by Judy. Sublimely sad, but so beautifully sung that brought tears to my eyes.

This makes me cry thinking of my husband.

One can tell that Judy was barely able to keep it together towards the end of the video. You did an unbelievable job. Thank you for your expertise and improving the quality of the original. You should be so proud of your accomplishment.
